Council is establishing a community garden at Beare Avenue Reserve at Watson Street, Netley.
The garden will be located adjacent both the existing curved path within the Reserve, and the shared path along Beare Avenue. As shown in the plan and image below, raised garden beds and fruit trees will be established, as well as a shed and sheltered picnic table.
While members of the community who would like to participate in regular gardening and maintenance will be able to formally join a gardening group, the garden will remain an open and shared space, with any community member able to pick produce and share in the harvests.
