Helenslea Avenue, Brooklyn Park
Update - 19 May 2021:replacement works are complete and the playground is now open to the public.
Update - 16 March 2021: the playground design has been completed with feedback received being taken into account. The equipment has been ordered and is scheduled for installation in April 2021. Letters and signage have been prepared for park users and local families and will be installed on site/delivered to neighbouring properties once a fixed date for installation is confirmed.
Helenslea Avenue Reserve is currently scheduled for replacement and we would like your help in deciding what to replace the existing structures with.
It would be great if you could spare a few minutes to complete the survey and help us understand how the space is currently used and what you would like to see included in the new design. This way we can ensure the exciting new playground meets the needs of the local community.
As COVID-19 has created large delays on the delivery of equipment orders, it is anticipated that the upgrade replacement will be completed by the end of September 2021.
