We may be socially distant but our communities in West Torrens have never been closer as people pull together to help each other out.
Acts of kindness make a huge difference, whether it’s simply staying at home, putting a teddy bear in your window, picking up supplies for your neighbours, working to keep key services open or putting your skills to a new use.
We want to hear what you are doing and what others have done for you. We want to hear how you are making the best of being home. We want to see the chalk drawings on your driveways or bears in your windows. We want to hear about your latest isolation cooking adventures. We want to see your gardening efforts.
We want to share your creativity here.
Community cookbook submissions
Do you have a great recipe which has helped you get through isolation? A family favourite passed down through generations? What about an accidental discovery that has now become a regular on your plate? If so, we want to hear from you!
We are putting together the City of West Torrens Community Cookbook so everyone can share their favourite foods and get inspired by others.
To submit your recipe, visit westtorrens.sa.gov.au/cookbook to complete the form and include some photos. We'd also love to hear any anecdotes behind the recipe or why it is one of your favourites.
Submissions close 5pm Wednesday 30 September 2020.
