Share your views on proposed Council By-laws relating to Dogs, Roads, Permits and Penalties, Moveable Signs, and Local Government Land.

Council By-laws are for the convenience, comfort, and safety of the West Torrens community, and are prepared pursuant to the Local Government Act 1999. The City of West Torrens has 5 By-laws:

  • By-law No.1 - Permits and Penalties
  • By-law No.2 - Local Government Land
  • By-law No.3 - Roads
  • By-law No.4 - Moveable Signs
  • By-law No.5 - Dogs

Each of these has been recently reviewed and updated to reflect current laws and Council processes. We are now seeking community feedback before the proposed By-laws are endorsed by Council and put into effect.
