What's happening?

The play equipment at Pacific Parade Reserve, West Beach is due for replacement. We are seeking community feedback to help decide the types of new play equipment to be installed. To have your say submit the online form on this page before 23 March 2026.

Each year, a number of playgrounds in West Torrens are replaced and upgraded in line with Council's Recreation and Open Space Asset Management Plan. The schedule of upgrades - which playgrounds, when, and what type of improvements - is decided based on the the age and condition of existing equipment, and use of the playground and surrounding reserve.

Pacific Parade Reserve is located adjacent Pacific Parade and Southern Avenue, West Beach.

The new play equipment will be installed within the boundary of the existing playground area, and the equipment materials and layout will consider both safety and maintenance requirements. The existing shade structure will also be replaced as part of the playground upgrade.
