Council is proposing the installation of elevated brick paved intersection treatments at the intersections of Wainhouse Street with North Parade and Shipster Street with North Parade. View more details and plans at yoursay.westtorrens.sa.gov.au/roads.
North Parade, Torrensville - Future and current road upgrades
To address safety concerns, Council is upgrading the intersections of North Parade and Wainhouse Street, and North Parade and Shipster Street in Torrensville.
While these intersection upgrades are the current priority, work is underway towards a larger road upgrade spanning the length of North Parade from Danby Street to East Street. In coming months further information about the larger North Park Parade upgrade will be provided, along with the opportunity to provide feedback.
Once completed, the upgraded intersections will look similar to those installed at the intersection of West Street and North Parade, also pictured on concept plans for the Wainhouse Street and Shipster Street intersections.
Scroll down to the online form to provide comment on the proposed intersection upgrades before 5pm Wednesday 10 April 2024. If you would like to provide your comment another way, email yoursay@wtcc.sa.gov.au or phone Council's customer contact centre on 8416 6333.
